Tom's Bar in Trefforest, Pontypridd is the only Rock Club in the area, and is currently under threat of closure due to constant demands by the local council. If the owners closed the venue, the place would either end up derelict or turn into another generic night club, leaving the local rock fans with no place to go to listen to good music, apart from the university rock night, which is not exactly up to Tom's standard.
