We just hit one hundred signatures and the Cork County Council can no longer ignore this. These officials are sitting comfortably while people in Ovens risk their lives walking along that road every single day.

As a mother who walks a lot with my 6 month old baby I find it too dangerous to attempt to walk to our local shop which is an awful pity! A footpath would be so safe and very much appreciated!

Footpath definitely needed from Killumney village to Cuddihies filling station
Also overhanging trees & verges should be trimmed without delay , They force pedestrians to walk further out on road than necessary
Very dangerous they cause damage to trailers & mirrors

Superb idea from someone who grew up in ovens and has seen over the last ten or fifteen years the huge increase in houses in the area without any proper thought for safety of pedestrians along what is an extremely busy road .

This is vitally important for pedestrian safety, impacting many local residents and children. As someone who regularly runs this stretch of road in a bid to keep healthy, it is perilously dangerous to travel along. Having a pavement would better allow access to local shop and would give folks the ability to walk to work in EMC.

This part of the road is way too dangerous to walk on currently and means we have to drive to the shop when it's within easy walking distance. Very necessary for the hundreds of families in the area.
