To Tom Judson and the POA Board of Directors:
Over the past 18 years, Papa Mike's has
become a Bella Vista institution. People gather there to play cards,
have meetings, socialize and eat great food in a friendly, relaxed
environment. Mike is a pillar of the community, beloved by all. He
truly cares about the membership and demonstrates this through his
actions and kind treatment of his customers. Mike does NOT want to retire.
We, the undersigned, hereby petition the POA board of directors to extend Papa Mike's lease with no increase in rent. Any current contract with Mike can and should be changed. Any engineering and/or architectural plans for the building should be shelved until Mike is actually ready to retire. Any POA funds that have been expended for these plans will not have been wasted.
We would like to remind the POA board of directors
that you have one employee; Tom Judson. It's your task to instruct Mr.
Judson what to do, not the other way around. All
you have to do is vote to allow Papa Mike's to stay in business as
long as he wants. It couldn't be more simple.
We urge the POA board of directors to honor the will of the membership. Papa Mike's must remain open.

The board cannot ignore the level of support we have generated for Papa Mike. Now is the time to turn this pressure into a direct movement. Email the members of the POA board today and tell them that the community expects them to renew this lease immediately.

I’ve known and worked with Mike for about 24 years. He takes pride in his work and is dedicated to prepare and serve a quality product at a reasonable price. He’s is wonderful “fixture” in the Bella Vista family and culture. It would be in our best interest to keep Papa Mike in our family!
Many Bible Study groups go to Papa Mikes after their meetings and have lunch and visit. It would be such a shame to lose this wonderful place. The food is great and very reasonably priced. Let ‘s keep it open!
Extend Mike's contract for as long as he wishes to stay. The POA will never operate a restaurant with food & prices comparable to Papa Mike's.
So many people rely on Papa Mikes. They are kind, service great as well as the food. Why do you want to do this? To enlarge the pro shop? To bring in another person to change Mikes place into something that we DO NOT WANT? We have a say, we pay taxes and dues!! Do do it.
Please. No more POA run restaurants! Love Papa Mikes atmosphere, reasonably priced, well prepared food. Much better than BV Grill with it's surly employees and inconsistent food quality.
I feel like Papa Mikes has been meeting the needs of our Bella Vista Community. He has offered great food at an affordable price. I feel he actually knows members of this community personally. He calls my sister and I the Shrimp girls. We get his fried shrimp on fridays. He knew my parents and always personally welcomed them by name when they were living. My father ate their at least once a week. He collects marketing intel by listening to negative and positive feedback then adjusts. He took great risk during COVID to keep food being served to the community. It would not surprise me if he knew Asa Hutchinson personally! He is very connected with friendships including the owners of Allen’s whom is another business everyone in Bella Vista counts on and loves.
I absolutely LOVE Papa Mike's ! It's a great place to have hear for the local residents, and I would be so passed it was shut down!!!

Since we moved to Bella Vista, Papa Mikes has been a popular, excellent, friendly, comfortably casual, and reasonably priced place to gather and dine. We always took our guests there for breakfast or dinner and often times both. Besides that it is a convient place for the bikers to stop for a quick lunch or relaxing dinner. Please don’t make him close
