Hello friends of Kingwood, Humble and surrounding areas. A little known but well loved restaurant on Loop 494 in Kingwood is in danger of closing and needs your help to keep it open! Papi's Kiosco is a beloved Puerto Rican mobile food unit that has quickly gained attention for serving fresh, authentic Puerto Rican cusuine at great prices. They have been open for over a year but have just been informed that they are in violation of city codes by having thier tables too close to the truck. City ordinance states that any fixed mobile food unit must place any seating no less than 100 feet away from the truck because of the propane tanks used to cook the food. Please help us keep Papi's open. Sign our petition and tell your friends about it. Then head out to Papi's for lunch or dinner! Thank you all for your support!

I go here every single week with my kids. Its such a friendly spot and the food is amazing. Dont shut down a local business over a dumb rule!

This is ridiculous. Kingwood needs better food options not more red tape. Keep Papi's open, the mofongo is the best around for miles.
