John Carter has done a tremendous job in caring for our community. He has been an amazing police chief. We love and adore him. We as a city do not want him gone and are fighting to keep him as our police chief. We are so thankful for Officer Carter and Officer Miller.

I spent all morning reading through the stories you all left about the times John Carter helped your families and honestly it is just overwhelming to see how much one person can impact a whole city. People keep asking me what the next step is but for now I am just trying to make sure the town council actually sees these messages because silence is not an answer I am willing to accept.

LEAVE CHIEF CARTER ALONE!!! He does a great job and we have no reason for this change. Total nonsense.
I stand with John Carter. He has served the city of Crofton well. Thank you John for your hard work and strong desire to uphold the law. We need your leadership and problem solving skills.
Chief Carter has done a fine upstanding job and protecting the citizens of Crofton
John is such a good guy. Crofton would be losing a lot if he was forced out. Keep him where he is!
His whole family is kind and have become great members of the community. He needs to be kept.
Keep John Carter on as a very good Chief and resident.

I STRONGLY disagree with the Mayors decision to appoint a new Chief of Police! Our town needs the officers we currently have!
