It has come to our attention that Ofc. Toby Garcia will be reassigned at the end of this school year. As a unified body consisting of Parents, Faculty, Staff, and Students we would like to ask that the leaders of Amarillo Police Department reconsider this action. We would like to ask that you revisit this decision and take notice that each signature represents a person who believes the greater good of our AHS community is better served by Ofc. Garcia being allowed to stay on as one of the AHS Cluster Liaison Officers. Our humble request comes from the feeling that the right man is in the right position and as a community we would like the quality of service provided by Ofc. Garcia to continue.

Ofc.Toby Garcia my special needs student trust him very much and that a + for them . Toby is very helpful when we them. I think he is the right man for the right position and as a community
As the widow of a police officer that served as a Liason/DARE officer for Hereford ISD, I know the special type of person it takes to work with high school students. Ofc Garcia has that positive impact that my students need at AHS.
Toby Garcia is a wonderul Liaison Police Officer in the AHS Cluster. He has not only been great at AHS, but he's helped us out with events at Crockett as well. He has a great rapport with the students and is respected by all. Please leave him in his current assignment.
Part of what makes Officer Garcia great at his job is how well he gets along with not only the staff and faculty of AHS, but also the students, and being able to get along with a bunch of high school students is a gift in itself! The students know and trust Officer Garcia and he helps bring a sense of security to the campus! Let's keep it that way!
As a fellow coworker of Ofc. Garcia he is a vital key to our daily work in the AHS Cluster. Please reconsider his movement from the liaison program
Please keep Toby at AHS, he has done an amazing job with the kids and we as parents do not want to see him go. He has earned the respect from the kids and parents.
Officer Garcia is more than a liaison officer at AHS. He is a key element to helping these students, teachers and parents.

Officer Garcia helped me out of my car when I got into a wreck my junior year. He called 9-11 and waited with me, even though he was off duty at the time. He is a vital part of AHS and I will always be grateful for his service.
