The Cape Breton Victoria Regional School Board is undergoing a school review process which will see some schools under the board close. John Bernard Croak V.C. Memorial School is the corner stone of the New Aberdeen area. There are a large number of reasons to keep this school open. Every signature on this petition will have its own story behind it. The excellent staff, volunteers and the name on this building instill a sense of pride in students both past and present from the moment they can tell you what school they attend. Please sign this petition, share your story of support and if possible, attend the school review meeting on November 30th, 7:00 pm at Glace Bay High and speak up.

This is a excellent school and it has extra services like a Snozelin Room for the challenged and reaches out to it's community by having it's doors open for those in need .It would be a great loss for Glacé Bay Area and why should it be closed .

I really hope this makes a difference because my son goes to Croak. Hopefully they will see tht we need this school for all the children in this area. If we bus our kids to one of the other schools then we have overcrowding and less time for the children.

This school is a pillar of the community. The experience children receive not only in educational support but also the emotional support is exceptional. This town needs more schools like this not less! keep this school opened!! Our children will thank you for it!

This is a school that teachers know children by named. .. I attended this school .. my children both went there and when I see there old teachers or even ones that taught me, they ask by name how my children are doing. it will be a shame to close.

Went there from p-6 and they were the best years of my life ! My little sister goes there now and I can't see her going to any other school . Realistically JBC is the only GOOD thing in the new Aberdeen area . I'd love to see it stay open

This school isn't closed yet; but it is crucial to keep letting the board know that you neither agree or accept that idea. They have the wrong school.
