This school isn't closed yet; but it is crucial to keep letting the board know that you neither agree or accept that idea. They have the wrong school.

I have a grandson that attends this school and in a few years will have two more. would hate to see this school close as there is a large number of children in this area that need this school.

i think it is terrible cutting back on the education system especially when there are not enough teachers and volunteers now what will they do with the children this school is in memory of a war veteran who gave his life so that our children could have the freedom of such an educational institute like john bernard croak school this is just displicable taking away the proper skills for our childrens future lets all come together to fight against the closer of our school thankyou vince costey

After retiring from teaching, I substituted for a few years. I loved getting called to JBC. It was my favorite school. Great , polite kids, wonderfully warm and caring staff and dedicated volunteers.JBC has a very homey atmosphere. It would be a great loss to the comminity. JBC is also a lovely building. Keep it open and honor the community and John Bernard Croak V.C., himself !!!!!

JBC was a huge part of my childhood and development of the person I became, closing this school would be a mistake. Their is a lot of children from new Aberdeen and sourounding areas to keep jbc open and that would have to relocate.

This is a excellent school and it has extra services like a Snozelin Room for the challenged and reaches out to it's community by having it's doors open for those in need .It would be a great loss for Glacé Bay Area and why should it be closed .

I didn't attend this school, but with schools, like gb elementary being so over populated why close another school? Just a thought but why not make this school a primary to 3, and gb elementary a 4-6, it would allow for smaller classes and such. The area I live in now actually has a p-3 school and a 4-6 school,

sickening is all i can say about this. clearly the politics surrounding this situation make no sense just like the all the other decisions the school board and government make. If they continously take and take, we will have nothing left
