Holy Cross Junior High HAD A PROPOSAL earlier today on January 25th about closing the school at the end of this year. Such a great school where you are always welcomed. Help keep this school oped by signing this petition!

The board members are hiding behind closed doors hoping we will just accept their decision to gut our community. I am spending every waking hour demanding transparency and they have yet to offer a single valid reason for this closure. They think they can ignore us but we are not going anywhere.

This is the only Jr high in the very center city and I feel it should stay open for so many reasons. My daughter is an honor student here and plays sports and loves this school and the staff is great. I don't know if my daughter will have the same opportunities if she goes to another school that is over crowded. Pls leave this school open.
This school is too great for it to be closed. Its where you meet friends that become your family, where the teachers care about you, no matter who you are. It would be a shame to see such a great school get closed down.

My son is attending grade 8 this year & dearly loves it there!! There is a small amount of students attending the school but it is very effective and efficient.
This school shaped so many young minds. It would be a shame to lose such an influential school and group of teachers especially the low student to teacher ratios.
Both my sons spent their junior high years at Holy Cross; absolutely amazing teachers, administration and staff, a true community school that although small, acts big and offers the children of the neighbourhood much more than just book learning, but life learning, compassion, caring, giving back opportunity and hope. Our government needs to open more like Holy Cross, use it as an example of what good can be done.
I go to this school and this school is by far the best the teachers understand us they help us and I don't see why u have to shut the school down I love this school and I want to finish jh there

Best school ever. The teachers are amazing and leave life long impressions on you. Best years of my life. If there is nothing wrong with the building and it's not endangering students and faculty then it should be left alone! No need to destroy what isn't broken. Please leave the school opened!!!
