Show West Ada School District that you support the continuation of the Chinese Immersion Program at Gateway School of Language and Culture and the expansion of the Program at the Middle and High School Levels.
Seeing 250 names on this page reminds me of how much this program means to my kids and their future. Thank you for helping me show the district that this community is behind our language learners.

Seeing one hundred people sign this in support of our kids at Gateway really hits home for me. My own child thrives in this program and it means the world to see so many families fighting to protect it.

Seeing this much support for the immersion program at Gateway feels like a weight sliding off my shoulders. My own child thrives because of this curriculum and knowing so many others value it just as deeply gives me so much hope for the future.

My daughter is two and a half and I have been planning on sending her to your program since I became pregnant. I think this program was a great asset to this community and would be a huge loss. Please let me know what I can do to help keep this program including financial support.

Our family was devastated with the news of the Chinese immersion program ending. We felt that our daughter's acceptance to the program 4 years ago was a real life-changing opportunity and to have it taken away is absolutely heartbreaking. Please reconsider this decision.

A few years of a language in high school is not enough for our country to have an international impact. This is beyond just getting kids to attend a school.

We just bought a home January 2016 in the West Ada School district, choosing that area over Boise schools because it had a Mandarin program. Please help us not regret that decision...

This is the only secondary language program in the West Ada District and the only Chinese Program in the State. The importance of this program can not be understated and under supported!

Part of parenting is giving your children every advantage possible. I was so happy to be doing research on education options and have this school come up for Chinese immersion. My two very young kids will know Spanish from me, but to also know Chinese will not only make future languages easier but truly give them an advantage in their later life should they choose any sort of international career. Chinese is a very difficult language I'm not qualified to teach, this school is such a great potential resource.
