Seeing all these names show up is honestly overwhelming because I keep thinking about how many stories are attached to each one of you who stopped by to sign. Mr. Laughlin mentioned he is looking for other ways to honor Mr. Keefe and knowing we have this kind of momentum behind us makes that conversation feel so much more real.

Summer of '68 Dick Keefe guided us through Europe. (With Fr Piepers helping.) Rapier wit, demanding conversationalist and motivating tutor. I can't say French was a pleasure but it was almost as funny as Fr Conroy's Geometry spa.

Dick absolutely deserves the highest recognition for his tireless dedication to the U. High. His support of me was one of the great gifts of my life, and I'm sure he gave such support to countless others. He's the ideal of a SLUH faculty member, in my view!

Mr. Keefe is a legend at the High. Nobody spent more time in those hallways making sure we stayed on track. He earned this.

Dick Keefe was the backbone of SLUH for decades. He looked out for my boys like they were his own. A total classic.
