Mr Keefe”s brought a calm manner, quick wit and deeply caring approach to all of his roles at SLUH. He was unique among all the faculty and staff.

Dick Keefe deserves all the accolade

Summer of '68 Dick Keefe guided us through Europe. (With Fr Piepers helping.) Rapier wit, demanding conversationalist and motivating tutor. I can't say French was a pleasure but it was almost as funny as Fr Conroy's Geometry spa.

I never met another professor at SLUH who cared more deeply for his students.

Dick absolutely deserves the highest recognition for his tireless dedication to the U. High. His support of me was one of the great gifts of my life, and I'm sure he gave such support to countless others. He's the ideal of a SLUH faculty member, in my view!

Mr. Keefe is a legend at the High. Nobody spent more time in those hallways making sure we stayed on track. He earned this.

Dick Keefe was the backbone of SLUH for decades. He looked out for my boys like they were his own. A total classic.
