We hereby demand that the taxpayer funded kayak launch at Hunter"s Spring Park be reopened immediately. We believe the closure is arbitrary and capricious and we find no credibility in the claim that the site presents any more dangers than the alternative offered. As taxpayers, kayakers helped fund this facility and contribute significantly to the economy of Crystal River. Denying access to all rather than deal with a few problem users is bad governance.
