We the undersigned demand that the "Common Ground" community garden (6-12 silver street) remains open for public use, without interference from Reading Council until a long-term decision is made on the use of that land. We further demand that any such decision must be finally decided by a free community referendum, and that the decisions made must be binding.

Reading Council is clearly rattled by how many of us demand they stop this land grab. They thought they could bulldoze the Common Ground without a fight but they were dead wrong.

This garden is the only green space we have left in this part of town. Leave it alone!
