We, the undersigned support the campaign to safeguard Cremorne Gardens from the possible threat from Thames Water to use the Park as a construction site for the Tideway Tunnel. Our park is much used and loved by local residents and visitors. We believe Cremorne Gardens on Lots Road is an unsuitable location for such a project and Thames Water should look elsewhere. Furthermore, we believe that locally elected Councillors and not an anaccountable quango should take planning decisions for our area and we urge the Secretary of State not to remove Planning powers from The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea in this matter.
The silence from the authorities is heavy but I am spending my evenings drafting formal follow-ups to ensure they cannot ignore our concerns. This process is exhausting and often feels like shouting into a void yet your signatures remain the anchor that keeps this effort moving forward.

Its not just about the noise. Its about destroying a place people actually enjoy. Very shortsighted planning.

Keep the construction cranes out. This is a vital green space for the community and we wont let it be ruined.

Ridiculous to even consider tearing up the gardens. We rely on this space for our kids to play. Find somewhere else!
