We strongly object to your actions of sacking Mark Costello from Sainsburys. We have been served by Mark or have known him for many years and have never had a problem, on the contrary we have always found him to be pleasant, helpful and friendly
Many members of the community feel very strongly that Mark has been treated unfairly and are very unhappy about his dismissal.
We feel this needs further investigation as we believe it could be discriminatory.
We are shocked that someone who has worked loyally for 19 years should be so summarily dismissed because of one unverifiable complaint
We are all very sorry to see him go, bring him back

I remember Mark from many Ashmead Primary School events where he was always super helpful and polite and it was great to see him working in New Cross Sainsburys. How sad that one disgruntled customer can blight the future of someone who values his job so highly
I have known Mark for about 5 years and he's a very pleasant lad with a heart of gold . I have asked my family & friends to boycott not only the New Cross store but all Sainsbury stores in protest at his shocking and unfair dismissal
I would choose Mark's till too as he was very friendly and helpful and also he reminded me of my aunt who had cerebral palsy and had a lifelong career as a nurse. I'm sorry he is having this difficult time and I hope that Sainsbury's will reconsider their decision.
My husband and I always enjoy speaking and joking with Mark at the checkout. We frequently choose his till over others. We were also pleased that Sainsburys had chosen to put their faith in Marks ability to work with the public on the till and strongly feel their recent action should be reconsidered.
Mark has worked at Sainsburys for about 20 years. he knows his job. It is highly unlikely he would behave in an inappropriate manner, and if he did, evidence should be provided by the management. This issue smacks of unfair dismissal, and must be addressed.
This shows a person protecting others. It encourages other thieves to know they can get away with it. Appalling dicision
Mark has always been polite and friendly, efficient and helpful in our experience

Mark is / was great with customers and I certainly miss not seeing him in the store. As someone who believes in diversity , I was always pleased that Sainsbury employed people who were not 'neurotypical'. Shame on you Sainsbury, you have really let yourselves down.
