The silence from the authorities is heavy but I am still sending emails and making calls every single day. Others in the neighborhood have started reaching out to me with their own terrifying encounters because they finally feel safe enough to speak. This fight is draining but I am not going anywhere until Buddy gets the justice he deserves.

Reaching this point is a heavy reminder of why I started this fight in the first place. I am exhausted by the silence from those in charge but seeing this level of support keeps the pressure alive.

terrifying. these dogs are a menace to the whole parish.
ridiculous that the cops wont do anything. if those were my dogs i would handle it myself. fix the law now.
this is so sad. my heart breaks for that poor puppy. something needs to change before a child gets hurt next.
poor buddy. RIP little guy.
been saying this for years. parish needs to wake up and enforce the leash laws before someone dies. enough is enough.
There must be laws to protect the innocent.

WAY TOO MANY LOOSE DOGS AROUND HERE. I walk my husky everyday and i am terrified of the pitbulls down the block.
