As hospital employees we all work hard to make sure our patients receive the care they deserve. Knowing that we have job security is a vital part of that. Therefore, WCHN should not just be able to discipline or discharge us for no reason at all. Without 'Just Cause' in our contract, they can do just that.
We're signing our names below to let WCHN know we support our Bargaining Team's effort to protect 'Just Cause' for the security and stability of our jobs.
Yes, there are times when discipline is warranted. However, as loyal employees we deserve a fair process just like the Nurses and Techs we work alongside.
JUST CAUSE = JUSTIFIABLE CAUSE
Signatures will be presented to the hospital as one complete petition at the negotiating table along with the Just Cause proposal. This will prove to them that we all stand together, side by side, in support of Just Cause and nothing less. This online petition will help us reach those who have not already signed the paper version.

I'd like to see the option for PCTs to work hours in both Danbury Hospital and New Milford Hospital.
