To the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, in Legislative Assembled: Our community is in a crisis situation with respect to the funding and land for the promised continuing care centre. We all believed that this free standing facility is a priority in our community. Our seniors who built this community deserve more than having our aging facility on the 4th floor of our local hospital. We the undersigned residents of Alberta, petition the legislative assembly to urge the Government of Alberta of fund and build a free standing Continuing Care Facility in Fort McMurray as a priority in this budget year. We encourage the Government to release the land and restore the promised funding, and commit to building the facility as planned.
