We the members and spouses of Centre Hills Country Club request the Board of Directors to encourage Jeb Boyle to reconsider his decision to resign and ask him to remain the golf professional at Centre Hills.
I feel like I have spent my entire week talking to people on the practice range and every single person keeps telling me the same thing which is that things just will not be the same around here if Jeb actually leaves. My inbox is completely overflowing with stories about his lessons and how he helped everyone find their swing and honestly I am just trying to make sure the board understands that this is not just some casual suggestion but a real plea from the folks who spend every weekend on these fairways.

I have worked with Jeb since 1999 on the Handicap Committee, & the Golf Committee on & off for several years. Most people don’t realize how much work Jeb has done to make the Chcc Handicap system work as well as it does. I fully support Jeb to stay.

After a fifty year absence we returned to State College in the late 90’s and learned that Jeb was still with CHCC. From that time to this we have been pleased to introduce Jeb to family and visiting friends as “our pro”.

Jeb did not suddenly decide it was the right time to step down. There were some subtle (and some not so subtle) encouragements to do so. It is not too late to undue this wrong.

If Jeb can be talked into staying a few more years @ CHCC then this club will be better for it. Change is inevitable but the longer we keep him the more stable this club will remain as we struggle thru General Manager and staff turnover.

I was a little shocked when I heard Jeb was retiring. I think he has worked his butt of for the members of our club and will be greatly missed. Many think this is a cushy job that is a breeze for him to accomplish. I think it is a very difficult job that will wear anyone down with the amount of hours and effort Jeb has put into it. It is my thinking he can be persuaded to stay on for a few more years and I'd like to be one of the first to ask him to stay.

I had the privilege of being on the Board when our Club hired Jeb. He has certainly exceeded our expectations. Jeb Boyle is an excellent golf professional!

I am very much in favor of Centre Hills retaining Jeb Boyle as the head pro. True professionals are hard to find.
