We need your voice. The ISAK Youth Group needs your help. The youth group is at risk of dissolving if we do not appoint the right person to direct it. The ISAK Youth Director position is currently vacant and we, the youth advisors, would like you to support Sister Ivana to be nominated for this position.
The Muslim youth of our community need to feel welcomed and be connected to our wonderful Islamic center. The youth group, which has done immense work over the past 2 years, is more active and effective than ever. This success is the result of the will of Allah and the leadership and dedication of Sister Ivana!
Sister Ivana is the best person among our community for this position. She received formal education including a bachelor degree in Education and a master degree in Youth Development. After receiving this education, she dedicated endless hours and effort to develop this group and connect our youth to the Masjid. She built a base of consistently involved youth, dedicated youth advisors, and a new image of our Masjid in our children's' lives that has never existed before! She was the person behind the weekly events, newsletters, the summer camp, volunteering field trips, the parents seminar, and more.

ive been reading all the messages you guys are leaving and it is so clear how much sister ivana means to this community. were still working behind the scenes to get a meeting with the board so they can see exactly why she needs to be in this role.

seeing this kind of support for ivana is just incredible and honestly it means so much to see everyone backing her vision for our kids. this momentum shows how much she really means to the community and why we cant let this group fall apart now.

It is past time for ISAK Leadership to recognize talent and appoint qualified individuals to the Board of Directors. It is also well past time for ISAK to open its doors (the front door, not the side!) to women to serve and BE RECOGNIZED in leadership positions.
Ivana's energy and passion for the youth program have been evident in the quality of activities that have been consistently organized over the past 2.5 years. Her management style has not only inspired leadership skills amongst the college-aged kids, but also earned the trust and respect of parents vested in this program. With a Masters degree in Youth Development, Sr. Ivana's qualifications are second to none in our community. I wholeheartedly support her appointment as the new Youth Director. Her unique background will also give voice to the members of our society that have traditionally been under-represented in ISAK's leadership: youth, women, converts, and non-Arab/Indo-Pakistanis.
I have worked with Ivana and her dedication and professionalism is palpable. Her possible absence would be a major loss to the ISAK community. In a time when youth are growing increasingly distant to their deen and in turn to the masajid, it is essential to have a dynamic youth director such as Ivana to remedy that issue.
Sr. Ivana is the most qualified for this position, given her degrees is in this field and given the time she has already invested in the youth group. The youth group would not have been able to flourish the way it has without her hard work and persistence.
Masha'Allah, Sr. Ivana knows how to plan and connect with the youth, and she has worked hard to do so. She has created a group that the youth want to be a part of, where their voices are heard, their concerns are addressed & they themselves can gain leadership skills. Without the active participation of the youth, our community would have no future.
Youth Group is really fun because people can get together and have some fun

my sisters have been gaining a lot from attending the youth group and they have become deeply involved and they love it. and I love to see them active in the community. I believe sister Ivana is a great candidate who is trustworthy to provide the youth with great mentoring and guidance.
