We are writing to you not just as guests, but as some of your most loyal, most passionate, and most dedicated cruisers—families who have chosen Disney Cruise Line again and again because of the people who make it feel like home.
And no one has embodied that feeling more than Iordan “Danny” Iordanov.
To say Danny made our sailings magical is an understatement. His warm welcome, joyful spirit, and unmatched commitment to service were not just “part of the experience”—they were the experience. He made us feel known, seen, celebrated, and truly cared for. Danny didn’t just work on the ship—he was part of our Disney family.
To hear that Danny has been removed from Disney Cruise Line—after years of devoted service—is beyond heartbreaking. Quite frankly, we’re devastated.
We sail Disney because of the cast members who go above and beyond. Because of people like Danny. Without him, the magic feels dimmer. The ship feels emptier. And the experience just isn't the same.
Sailing without Danny now feels like something is missing—and no stateroom upgrade, themed night, or entertainment offering can replace the human connection we had with him. We do not believe his termination reflects the values we’ve come to know and love from Disney. We believe it was a mistake—one that deserves to be made right.
Bring Danny back. For all of us who return to Disney Cruise Line not just for a vacation, but for the people who make it magical.

Letting Danny go is a major loss to Disney Cruise Line. He is not only the embodiment of Disney concierge service, he is the heart of Disney magic. We would book concierge cruises just to see Danny. Please bring him back.
We have sailed with Danny at least 6 times, with our last sailing in May 2025. We specifically mentioned Danny in our comments in the survey, calling him the best Concierge host we have had in our 35+ sailings in concierge. And he truly was. Bring him back.
My husband and I were on the maiden voyage of the Magic. Our Castaway numbers are 904 and 903. We have had Danny many times. He made us feel so special. Once we went Concierge we never went back. Please put him back on the ship
My family and I have been on 20 Disney cruises. Danny has seen my kids grow up, & always made our experience magical! Devastating to hear, that someone so wonderful, has been let go.
Danny is such an asset and his absence is a great loss for DCL. His loss will have an impact on my choice to sail concierge or even at all moving forward.

Danny is truly wonderful. We are on the wish now and we were very sad to see him not onboard. We have cruised 25 times with Disney cruise line and staff like Danny are the reasons we keep coming back. Please bring him back. He is truly missed by all.
