Insite Energy charges approximately £22 standing charge a month.
You will then be charged more on top for the heating and hot water you actually use.
This service is much more expensive than other energy providers and there is no difference to the heat or hot water they provide.
You should be entitled to choose your energy provider, according to Ofgem tenancy rights.
If you are unhappy with the amount Insite Energy is charging for their service, please sign this online petition asking to switch to a cheaper supplier of your choice.

I have just moved into a new build and compared to my hot water and heating in my previous flat Insite are much more expensive . Standing charge and usage charge are more expensive and we have no choice but to use them.
We should have the right to choose our provider and the costs are excessive.
Can't afford that £22 standing charge a month and then the heater and water bill is also expensive than another provider.
I can't afford this I'm a pensioner and it's daylight robbery I have to scrimp and save every penny I get.

I was aware insight took over our energy supply bringing of year had 3 bills first £189 for 2 month 2 18 3 £249 freightened to put heating on but u hav to only got 3 radiators in my flat but got health issues with cold effects me so I have to have heating on very worried about my bills and future ones hearing people or getting wrongly billed is very worrying because we or not getting any further forward
