Milford Oyster Fest was held, Board of Alderman meetings have been in person for months, and schools are back in session. Yet, the Milford Department of Health has suggested that the Board of ED meetings continue to be held virtually. WHY??? Their argument is that the current space is too small. However, the board has access to City Hall, Parsons, and EVERY OTHER SCHOOL in our district (13 of them), many with auditoriums. With the zoom meetings, there have been complaints of parents requesting comment and then not receiving the link to speak. Parents are concerned that the current Superintendent and many members of the Board of Education are not interested in hearing what the parents and tax payers in Milford have to say about the controversial issues that our City is facing. Many parents feel that they are being censored. Please sign this petition to demand that the Board of Ed Meetings return to being held IN PERSON NOW to have parents rights and voices restored.

Milford Board of Alderman meetings are in person, why not the Board of Ed meetings?
Please explain why our kids can “safely” be in class all day and we can’t together in a big room, 6 feet apart, with masks? Seems like an excuse NOT to face the people you represent. This is not right!!
Meetings should be in person. Could have them in many places with an auditorium.
The schoolboard needs to listen to the parents and let them be able to voice any issues they may have.
Since it has been so long that we had an in person meeting maybe BOE should consider a special session simply for public speaking. It's much needed since some people who even attempted to speak in the most recent past via zoom were denied or unable to.

We the parents have the right to know what our children are being taught. We do not send them to school for indoctrination of Morals and values that we do not agree with. Schools are to teach math, reading, and writing, and actual history. All of this “equality and social justice is a cover for Marxist indoctrination and and creating division. I will fight for my children’s freedom as will other parents.
