Currently highway 663 is a major route for not only local residents to access the landfill, residential housing, a tourism route for many lakes and campgrounds, but also accessed by many commercial trucks and semi-trucks avoiding the weigh scales, as well as using the dump. Currently the road is in such a horrifying state that school buses have deemed it unsafe to transport children on and have cancelled on families after a snow or rain storm. This highway is so heavily used that it is in our opinion that simply grading it is no longer sufficient as minimal upkeep has been maintained over the last several years. We the residents of Lac La Biche are urging you to hear our voice and support our municipality to help make secohighway 663 safe!
