To Members of the West Hollywood City Council. As a member and supporter of the IAJF I would encourage you to carefully consider the proposed interim operating conditions offered by the Iranian American Jewish Federation. It is important to our community to have a place where we can practice our religion and conduct our ceremonies and celebrations in a Jewish environment with kosher food service. Our synagogue has been at this location since the 1950's and the meeting facilities were dedicated in 1967. We do want to be good neighbors. We are prepared to make changes to the operation of our facility to reduce noise and traffic. We have proposed to build a parking structure as a permanent solution and that matter should be before your Council in a few months. In the meantime we are prepared to relocate the loading and unloading of equipment and place some limits on the end times of evening events. I support the changes offered by the IAJF and I would encourage you to support them as well.
