We, the Tannery residents, show our support for an integrated off-leash dog area and garden space plan that:
- Expands the current dog run plan to include the entire northeast corner of the property, creating a space that creatively integrates our community garden, smoking area, and the proposed off-leash dog area.
- Supports community gardening and composting by providing residents with access to a water source near the garden.
- Respects individuals and families right to clean air and after-hours quiet AND residents right to smoke and gather by creating an inviting smoking area within the space approximately 30 feet north from the current garden area.
- Builds community through shared responsibility of maintenance and care for the space while naturally improving security through increased resident use and presence.

I like that it will make stronger access for people,and their dogs, sharing and maintaining a welcoming and safe place for all of us, in the outdoors together. No time like the present eh?
