Due to the feedback of the newest version of Hot Budget (Hot Budget 2.0). The below members of the Production world request the following:
1 - The Hot Budget developers immediately make the 2016 version available to use for subscribing members. We very much appreciate the hard work performed by the developers of Hot Budget, however we feel vital parts of the functionality and format we use on a daily basis were dropped without consulting with our community and that our concerns are not being addressed properly. Also, many production teams are prepping, shooting or wrapping jobs in early January and forcing them to immediately jump into a very revised version of Hot Budget they haven't had time to study can be very disorienting mid job.
2 - The Hot Budget Developers come up with a pro-rated system if they intend to keep subscriptions based on a calendar year. If a subscription is purchased 6 months into the year, that person should not be paying the same price for 6 months of usage that someone else pays for 12 months of usage.
Again, we appreciate the work done by the Hot Budget developers. We just feel that more testing and a slower rollout should be done before making large changes to a program we use in our professional lives.

The sheer volume of people joining this push proves that Hot Budget is ignoring our professional reality. They thought they could force this broken update on us without a fight but they were dead wrong.

Please reinstate the Hot budget 2016. We already have a large work load and sometimes don't even have enough days budgeted. Don't make our jobs more complicated!
I agree that we should have access to the previous years version if we renew. I'm not a big fan of the new travel log or PC log, and wish we still had a check log (though that one isn't as big a deal). Also, $100 every year to renew is not ideal.
This update caused us to miss a bid deadline and as a result loose work for our company. It also ruined to jobs in progress taking hours of myself and my teams time. The PC log is also a mess
Not all of the new features are bad and I'm not against change or progress. But I think everyone agrees the PC Log needs to go back to the old version. Or at least be able to easily switch to the old version. Same with the Travel Log. The new Travel Log is super cumbersome.
Please give us the option of continuing to use a version that works and saves time for a position that is constantly getting more work dumped into it's lap. If the investors that are making the changes to a system that worked so well for so long, you may lose a lot of users, which should matter to those investors. I know you'll help turn this around.
Troy, you are the Batman for creating and making Hot Budget available. But please bring back the 2016 PC spreadsheet. The new PC log is not production friendly!
The 2017 PC Log has changed that is not convenient for Commercial Production. By not seeing the totals for each PC Envelope and now having to highlight the totals for each envelope to get the final total, takes precious time we rarely have. There are also instances that generating a PDF of the Budget does not keep each page on to 1 page, but splits them into 2 pages. Re-installing office is not working. Thanks for a great program and look forward to a more Commercial Production friendly version.

in the middle of a 4 month job and now have to start over - the import feature is limited, does not carry over pc or overages -- and can't access any of the old versions of the budget workings -- this is total Malarky.
