As proud Alumni of Occidental College and its football program we have all been influenced by Coach Widolff; well beyond the measurable statistics of his success -11 SCIAC titles and 178 wins. He has been a coach, a mentor, a father figure and a friend. By signing the petition below we pledge to cease any financial support of the college until the decision is reconsidered or Coach Widolff is honored in a manner commensurate with his immense contribution to Occidental College.

The administration has acknowledged the current volume of support and we are now coordinating a formal meeting with the Board of Trustees. We are currently drafting an official letter outlining our requirements for the college to address the legacy of Coach Widolff.

HE WAS A MENTOR TO SO MANY OF US. OXY ADMINISTRATION HAS NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
Unbelievable. Talk about losing sight of what really matters.
28 years of pure dedication and they just kick him to the curb. oxy should be ashamed of themselves.
Coach is a legend plain and simple. Fix this mess.
What a joke. They lost my donation money until they make this right. Honor the man who built that program.

Widolff helped shape my brother into the man he is today. This is a total slap in the face to his legacy.
