Subject: Urgent Request for Coach Kevin Corbett to Return to Campus
We, the undersigned members of the Missouri Valley College Women's Wrestling Team, along with our supporters, respectfully request that Coach Kevin Corbett be allowed to return to campus to conduct and organize practices for the remainder of the season. While we recognize the administrative errors that led to the decision of the NAIA, we strongly believe that the additional restrictions imposed by the college administration are unfair and negatively impact our team’s ability to train, compete, and succeed. Our institution believes in personal accountability and integrity as a core characteristic and there is no better representative of these morals as Coach Corbett. An administrative error was made which he immediately reported when it was discovered which highlights his dedication and commitment to our institutional values. This dedication is just one factor that motivates our request to have Coach Corbett reinstated on campus.
One of the most significant upcoming events is Senior Night, scheduled for Tuesday, February 11. Senior Night is not just another event. It is a one time thing for our graduating athletes to be recognized for their years of dedication, hard work, and perseverance. Our wrestlers look forward to it for their entire career. It is a night to celebrate their achievements, honor their sacrifices, and provide them with a meaningful send-off as they conclude their collegiate wrestling careers. The absence of Coach Corbett, who has been instrumental in shaping these athletes’ journeys, would deeply diminish the significance of this occasion. Coach Corbett has made a profound impact on his athletes lives beyond the scope of athletics. Our seniors deserve to have our coach by their side for this milestone.
Furthermore, as we approach the most crucial part of our season, we need Coach Corbett to be present in order to maintain our competitive edge. Wrestling is a sport that requires rigorous training, strategic preparation, and strong leadership. Losing our coach at this critical time puts us at a severe disadvantage and undermines our potential for success in the post season.
We urge the administration to reconsider its decision and allow Coach Corbett to return to campus, at the very least for Senior Night, but ideally for the remainder of the season. We are requesting an immediate review of this matter and a meeting with the administration to explore solutions that will enable our team to move forward in the best possible way.
We appreciate your time and consideration and hope Missouri Valley College will make the right decision in support of its student-athletes.

Coach Corbett is an honorable and respectable coach. My daughter wrestled in College and he impressed me as a person who cares about the student wrestlers and what he’s doing.
Coach shape teams don't take these last 5 weeks away from them. This senior class deserves to finish out with their coach .
If I felt any of coach’s actions were done, intentionally, I would agree with Missouri Valley decision to suspend, but my wife and I both feel like it was just an oversight and the coach truly cares about his athletes. Coach Corbett is a great coach and mentor who made a fairly meaningless mistake. Knowing Coach Corbett, I’m sure it won’t happen again.
He is an amazing coach !! Coming from a junior in high school that had a camp with him . He really set a spark for me to attend MOVAL
We had the pleasure of meeting Coach Corbett at a training camp in Houston 8 years ago. He made such an impact on my daughter that she chose to wrestle for him in college In Arkansas. Great coach, it’s a very hard job not easy to do. He deserves to be there for his team and they deserve to have their coach be there for them as well.

Coach Corbett has had an impact on many athletes at MVC, men and women, and deserves to finish out the year with this group of women. Coach Corbett embodies the characteristics of what it means to be a leader and role model for the younger generations.
