THE COUNCIL HAS OFFICIALLY REVERSED THE EVICTION AND THE TUGUN JETS ARE STAYING HOME!! WE ABSOLUTELY DID IT AND I AM BEYOND THRILLED THAT OUR PLAYERS HAVE A FIELD TO RETURN TO!! THANK YOU ALL FOR FIGHTING UNTIL WE WON THIS VICTORY FOR OUR CLUB!!

THE Gold Coast City Council has sunk the boot into one of the Gold Coast’s foundation soccer clubs, evicting the Tugun Jets from their home ground and handing it to the Seahawks rugby league club.
The Jets will have to walk away from the facilities they have maintained for more than 20 years, leaving almost 200 junior members with no club and nowhere to play.

Ridiculous decision. Leave the kids alone and let them play at their home ground.
Hard to believe they are kicking out a club that has been there for 20 years. absolute joke.
My son played there for years. This is so wrong.
