THE Gold Coast City Council has sunk the boot into one of the Gold Coast’s foundation soccer clubs, evicting the Tugun Jets from their home ground and handing it to the Seahawks rugby league club.
The Jets will have to walk away from the facilities they have maintained for more than 20 years, leaving almost 200 junior members with no club and nowhere to play.
