I just received the news that Miss I is officially coming back as our coach. This result belongs entirely to you because I truly never expected that so many people would step up to help. We should keep an eye on things as the season begins but for now please …
I have been spending my evenings reading through the stories you all are sharing about Miss I and the impact she had on our team. It is truly humbling to see how many lives she touched and I am only the one holding the pen while you are the ones keeping this movement alive.

Mrs I is the best coach I've ever had. I've won multiple national titles and I couldn't of done it without mrs I. She made me the person I am today, and if you guys don't step up and bring her back to the program you will regret it. When things go wrong at nationals you don't blame it on the coach, because at the end of the day it's the 20 girls on the mat who give the performance.

Ms I is an incredible role model and mentor to many young girls past and present. I attribute my daughter's dedication and morals as a team leadership skills to Ms I's influence. Please allow her to continue to lead other young girls as she has lead my daughter. To let her go would be a huge injustice to the young girls of Sachem

Ive been on many teams in my life and Ms.I was my best coach by a long run. She made me into a great cheerleader and person. She did not deserve to loose her job. This was my senior year and she did everything she could to have this team succeed. Since 10th grade I have looked up to her.

Ms. I was a great coach, If anybody had issues I believe approaching and discussing the problem would have been easier. Not taking away her coaching job. My daughter has been with her for 4 yrs and has loved every minute of her cheerleading experience. Please help bring Ms. I back to her team!

Ms. I was an amazing coach! Her getting fired due to letters written from parents is a complete and utter disgrace . I believe this was a personal attack against her having nothing to do with her coaching skills. .

This hurts my heart. Ms. I has been a role model in my life since the beginning of my high school cheerleading career. Not only is she an amazing coach but a kindhearted friend and outstanding mother. It has been a privilege cheering under Ms. I's team for all of my high school years. Being a part of that team has molded me into the strong confident hard working individual I am today. Ms. I and I have kept in touch after I graduated and I have even helped chaperone one of their trips to Disney. She is a wonderful mother and teacher and puts in long hard hours to make these girls dreams come true. Ms. I has made my high school years the best years of my life. When my mother couldn't afford to buy me the practice clothes we were ordering she didn't even hesitate to purchase them for me. She would even call me on nights before big competitions telling me how much she believed in me. She is my family and I am heartbroken because of this. Every great team needs to be pushed and she saw talent in girls who couldn’t even see it in themselves. Yes she pushed us but I would do it all over again a million times! Sachem East has come out on top every year because of her and letting her go is a huge mistake. A very close friend of mine has had Ms. I as an English teacher at North and she also has nothing but amazing things to say about her. She was my role model than and she is my role model still. Cherisse loves those girls and loves this team. Without her Sachem East Cheerleading will never be the same. I will do everything in my power to get this message across. We love you Ms. I!
