This hurts my heart. Ms. I has been a role model in my life since the beginning of my high school cheerleading career. Not only is she an amazing coach but a kindhearted friend and outstanding mother. It has been a privilege cheering under Ms. I's team for all of my high school years. Being a part of that team has molded me into the strong confident hard working individual I am today. Ms. I and I have kept in touch after I graduated and I have even helped chaperone one of their trips to Disney. She is a wonderful mother and teacher and puts in long hard hours to make these girls dreams come true. Ms. I has made my high school years the best years of my life. When my mother couldn't afford to buy me the practice clothes we were ordering she didn't even hesitate to purchase them for me. She would even call me on nights before big competitions telling me how much she believed in me. She is my family and I am heartbroken because of this. Every great team needs to be pushed and she saw talent in girls who couldn’t even see it in themselves. Yes she pushed us but I would do it all over again a million times! Sachem East has come out on top every year because of her and letting her go is a huge mistake. A very close friend of mine has had Ms. I as an English teacher at North and she also has nothing but amazing things to say about her. She was my role model than and she is my role model still. Cherisse loves those girls and loves this team. Without her Sachem East Cheerleading will never be the same. I will do everything in my power to get this message across. We love you Ms. I!

Ms.I. is an amazing coach and letting her go would be a mistake. When I cheered for her she pushed all the girls to be the best they could be and I knew that she wouldn't give up on us when things got tough. She made me into the strong and independent person I am today because of her coaching and cheer program she built over the last couple of years. By letting her go your letting sachem east cheerleading go with her and it won't be the same without her.

Cherise Iacono is a wonderful coach and educator. Not only did she support me as a Sachem East cheerleader, but also as a student. She always encouraged myself and my teammates to be the very best we could possibly be. She never gave up on one of her girls, whether they needed extra attention regarding their athletic abilities, or even in school. Her dedication to the program is unparalleled. Literally, she cannot be replaced. Ms. I, thank you so much for everything you did and everything you do. You made my high school career worthwhile. We all love you!

Ms I is an incredible role model and mentor to many young girls past and present. I attribute my daughter's dedication and morals as a team leadership skills to Ms I's influence. Please allow her to continue to lead other young girls as she has lead my daughter. To let her go would be a huge injustice to the young girls of Sachem

A Excellent teacher is hard to become, when coaching (at Sachem) at the same time, she is a Star on the Staff, please help support that quality in return. Thank You

My daughter has been with SEVC for 4 years Ms I was her coach. During her years Ms I not only was her coach she was her mentor, friend, Ms I has been an wonderful person and helping those girls become the young ladies they have become. I have nothing but praise and kind words to say about Ms I. She taught the team confidence, team players. Bringing SEVC to Nationals the 4 years my daughter was on the team in quite an accomplishment showing what a great coach she truly is, I could right a book on why I think Ms I should be reinstated .

I am saddened by this news. Ms I was the best thing that ever could have happened to the sachem east cheerleading program. Iv never seen a single person put so much dedication and devotion into something the way she did in us. She inspired us to be the best we could be and always be a team. Im completely shocked that a person who had such an impact on her girls could just be let go. Ms I not only made me the best cheerleader i could be but she helped me get through the hardest things and years of my life. Without her and cheerleading i woudnt be the same. She loved every single one of her girls and wanted only the best for them. We were a family and not many coaches would go above and beyond the way that she would. She kept us focused and out of trouble and on the right path. She was a great role model and was a big part of our lives. Sachem East Varsity cheerleading has become what is has because of her. At 24 i can still say she was one of the most influential people in my life. In 2008 my senior year we were unstoppable until nationals and thats because she believed in us always did. She is a gem and they dont come around often. I dont think iv met a girl or a parent who didnt love ms I. East cheerleading wiill never be the same without her they will regret it
