Jack is coming home because you refused to stay silent. Our constant pressure forced them to follow the law and return my boy. Keep watching our local officials to ensure this abuse of power never happens to another family.

CALLING ALL ANIMAL LOVERS! On August the 2, 2019, while I was running errands my beloved service dog Jack escaped through a hole in the fence and killed my neighbors dog. I love all animals and am heartbroken over what happened and the loss of life. I honestly am. I just don't understand how taking another life is the answer.

Jack was seized without a seizure order. I have been denied due process. I do not understand how individuals who are supposed to protect us can violate our civil liberties and get away with it. I do not accept the abuse of power. This could very easily happen to you. When do we say enough and stop allowing those with power to do as they wish.

Your signature will potentially save a life and send a message that laws apply to all and those in power cannot abuse such. Your signature says, we have had enough!

Iam very sorry to hear about your service dog jack you are right law's need to change one mistake should not condemned a animals life or human, we all deserve a second chance or even a third. I mite be biased towards power breeds but dogs do not just attack for no reason. I wish you and Jack luck all the best steffan

I have 3 pitbulls and 1 buldog. The buldog got attacted at 11 months and has been dog aggressive ever since. This was a sad accident and the dog should not have to die because of it.

Animals need to have sentient status the current property classification allows authorities to behave inappropriately. I consider property to be inanimate objects, which do not love, bleed or breathe as animals do.

Punish the owner, not the Dog. Give a fee and release him. Criminals pay bond and are released, his life is worth more than the criminals on the street.

I do not agree at all with the way this is being handled at all. Let Jack go and enforce a stronger watch on him to the owners. Give restrictions that will ensure he won't escape when they are not home. Do NOT Euthanize Him!

There is so much wrong here...no due process and the neighbor has to take responsibility for cutting the bush allowing said incident to occur. It is a sad situation but the dog Jack shouldn't die for it.
