A law was put in place by the Circuit Court, stating if under a reasonable search of your home, the Police are now given the right to shoot and kill your very own dog if he BARKS or even MOVES. Being a long-time dog owner and lover, I've come across the most well trained, well taken care of dogs. Not one of those dogs had the nerve to just stay still when the door is opened, or even knocked on for that matter. With that being said, I would like to respectfully and reasonably ask that this law be voided or annulled. Dogs are very protective and dominant animals that cannot tell who is an officer of the law. There are other ways to keep police officers safe from domestic animals, without giving them the authority to shoot a family member for doing his/her part around the house. Not only my dog, but all dogs mean the world to me. Thank you for signing, our voices will be heard and we will keep those who can't speak for themselves safe.
