We the following residents of Arrive Westborough request that the Town of Westborough install pedestrian crossings at the intersection of Highway 9 and Otis St to allow access to Speedway Plaza, Target and the railway station.
Constant traffic at this intersection makes walking to the shops impossible. I am meeting with town officials to highlight these safety risks.

The momentum behind this request is incredible. Local officials are starting to take notice of our need for safe passage.

People need to be able to cross Route 9 on foot to access stores and train station (finishing the sidewalk along Otis St would be really nice too!). Make Westborough pedestrian friendly!

I certainly see advantages and opportunities if done right. Of course, we should do this for the safety and well-being of our Arrive neighbors. We can add to that all sorts of ideas of how a crosswalk, in combination with the commuter rail, Target, Stop and Shop, and then the other surrounding businesses could boost up our town. I hope this is given all the attention it deserves!

Much needed at this intersection. I've seen so many people trying to cross here and it's not safe at all. People walk to the stores and the train station. Lots of children live in the Arrive neighborhood.

I’m happy to sign. I know it may require longer wait times but I’ve seen too many near misses of people crossing.

Please approve the petition as we face difficulty in crossing over the signal. We take our kids to gymboree in summer and it's highly risk to cross the signal with kids
