We the undersigned Falmouth taxpayers request you work diligently to install a crosswalk across Palmer Ave. in Falmouth, MA, to allow safe cycling and pedestrian transit between Goodwill Park and the Shining Sea bikeway. Connecting these two excellent recreational resources will enhance the quality of life for many in our town.

There wasn't much point in building the connecting link from the bike path to Palmer Ave. if you can't go anywhere.
I visited Falmouth and in the summer the traffic is very dense. For the safety of the park users Palmer Street needs a safe pedestrian/cyclist crossing.
My family and I vacation here and it's scary crossing the road from the bikeways to the park! Help!!
Cross from the current Bike Trail to Goodwill Park almost every day! I can't count the number of close calls from cars and trucks flying around the corner by Old Palmer Ave! We need a crosswalk and a light like the one at the intersection of the Bike Trail and Woods Hole Road.
Our town needs this. The crosswalk would be more than just a path to the playground and pond. Imagine how it could reduce traffic by allowing people from other parts of town to access the bike path through Goodwill Park.
Definitely support this. Please let this happen.
This would be a wonderful way to connect the bikepath and the park, beach, and hiking trails.

Biking is more popular than ever for people of all ages. The bike path us huge summer draw. Many cycle to the nearest entrance but crossing 28 is the more treacherous access method. A walkway would clearly contain the obvious risks.
