The city officials continue to ignore our emails while families play chicken with speeding traffic on Stone Spring Boulevard every single day. I am currently compiling a list of their pathetic excuses to expose exactly why they refuse to prioritize our safety. We are not backing down until they put a real crosswalk in the ground.

The city council ignored us for months but this surge of momentum makes it impossible for them to pretend we do not exist. We have finally forced them to look at the danger on Stone Spring Blvd and now we turn up the heat.

Pedestrian and bicycle safety is paramount, especially on this road that has a high volume of trucks and vehicles...many of whom speed often.

This intersection is extremely dangerous. There are school bus stops for children of all ages, we have had vehicles strike homes and demolish porches. Egressing from our neighborhood is often impossible as traffic generally blocks our intersection completely. Please protect and ensure the lives of your constituents by performing this very easy and cheap request.

Fully support petition to get a crosswalk installed to compliment the newly installed "do not block the intersection" sign. Especially useful to take action before school starts again to keep the children on the straight and narrow within the crosswalk when boarding the school bus.

This is an extremely dangerous intersection, and a crosswalk is absolutely vital to ensuring the safety of all residents--especially school age children who must cross the street multiple times per day.

This is such a scary intersection. A crosswalk is truly needed in this area.

We need this as this junction is very accident prone.
