There is an emerging ecological catastrophe waiting to happen to Anibeze community in Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa state Nigeria this is due to the scourge of erosion precipitated by dredging of the river Niger. This petition is on the total neglect of Anibeze community by government over the years resulting in 200 houses being eroded into the River Niger due to Nigerian government dreading activities. Anibeze has no electricity , pipe borne water nor motor-able road despite its proximity to the east-west road. Experts say the town can not exist beyond 15 years if something is not done fast to ameliorate the situation hence our resolve to cry out for help.
