Started by Logans Reserve Community 6 years, 1 month ago
This petition is aimed at the the HOA board members of Logans Reserve. We, the community members are asking that the demolition at our clubhouse be halted until we are able to discuss with the board the reasons for such a project as well as alternatives. We’re asking that the construction crew vacate immediately and not return until COVID concerns have passed and no liability is placed on the HOA and until after the board listens to and considers community concerns.

Updates

June 18, 2020

The feedback I continue to receive from neighbors highlights a deep frustration regarding the lack of transparency about this project. I am currently compiling these personal accounts to present formally at the next board session as evidence that our collective concerns require genuine consideration.

June 18, 2020

Seeing this level of engagement confirms that residents genuinely want a seat at the table regarding our neighborhood infrastructure. This progress shows that our collective desire for transparency is both clear and significant.

Complete waste of money for a permanent office in a community amenity for a contract employee. If anything the clubhouse should be enhanced for the benefit of residents. There is no rational justification to support this. There are many other less costly reasonable alternatives to address the board’s concerns. The cost of the office should be redirected to other needs that enhance the value of our community.

7597 Player Blvd. HOA money collected from the community homeowners should be used toward projects that are agreed upon with feedback from the community directly. An electronic survey or other similar system should be used to regularly obtain feedback from homeowners as this is the most effective method vs. being physically present at an HOA meeting . It’s unreasonable to provide a private office space for a property manager when items in the community that benefit the homeowners are not completed such as repaving the basketball court, improving the pool, gym and other community amenities. There are other more cost effective ways secure files. Stop the clubhouse office construction immediately!!

7916 Erinvale I actually can understand the privacy aspect, I just don’t agree that it should have come at the cost of space residents use regardless of frequency. The kitchen space wasn’t super functional, but it’s far more functional than not having one at all. I believe that was one of the potential draws for people to WANT to rent the space- again, regardless of frequency.

A better method of approval must be obtained before taking on large projects. No response shouldn’t be a green light to move forward with projects.

This is a community clubhouse- not an office . The kitchen- as inadequate as it is, is the one thing that allows for community gatherings of a positive nature. My friend and I were able to hold two very well attended neighborhood celebrations because of that little galley kitchen. If the demolition has started, reverse gears and improve the kitchen. Get Jon a locked file cabinet and let the management company pay for it!

All construction should stop. If we as paying members of the community are not allowed in the facility then no one else should.’

This is crazy, we don’t need to spend money for that.
