The hockey committee has yet to acknowledge our concerns regarding the shift of our traditions. Decisions affecting the entire community should be made through an open and collaborative process instead of behind closed doors.

The groundswell of support for this cause reflects our shared commitment to community traditions. It is clear that the decision to alter our holiday schedule did not align with the expectations of the public.

Total nonsense. Keep it on the 31st where it belongs.
What a joke. Halloween is on the 31st every year no matter what. Hockey is not more important than a holiday everybody enjoys.
Just stick to the calendar. Halloween is halloween. The hockey committee does not own the town.
