Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint need to hear our voices!

Do you want cell phone coverage in Haddam? This isn't just about convenience. It's also a big safety problem!

To help finally get cell coverage for Haddam's RT 154 corridor, the cell phone carriers need to hear from you.

Verizon and AT&T are ignoring our dead zones while we risk our safety on the road. We need to hit 250 signatures immediately to force these carriers to acknowledge the danger they are creating in Haddam. Get this link to your neighbors right now.

Verizon and the other carriers are still ignoring our dead zones while we continue to drive through dangerous silence on RT 154. I am tired of these corporations prioritizing their bottom lines over our basic safety. They think they can wait us out but we are not going anywhere until these towers are built.

We need cell phone coverage in this area. Every time I am in this area, which is frequently, I can't make or receive calls. I always pray I won't break down or have an accident on Route 154 or Route 82.

Cell coverage is poor in my area of Haddam (Shailerville). Also the cell coverage at the Eversource Electrical Substation in Haddam is also poor. I support the proposed cell tower project for the RT 154 corridor.

There's also an issue on Rt 154 where coversage should overlap but instead create gaps. And the total lack of cell reception on or near the CT River is dangerous.

From the Fire house to the Library and Senior Center to the businesses on Bridge Rd, cell service is VERY poor, and unreliable. If there was an accident in those areas, you would have to walk to a land line, or drive to the center of Higganum to report an accident. Hopefully a cell tower could be located to remedy this problem.

I'd urge the carriers to go drive this stretch of rt. 154, think about possible emergency situations that a motorist, pedestrian, boater, or homeowner in this area could face. Then it will be clear about why we all want this done.

I have been frustrated by our lack of coverage for a very long time. Even with a cell booster "micro cell" from ATT there are still issues. Without it we get no coverage (off of Gunger Hill).

The dead spot is serious and should not be taken lightly.
