Leftist radicals are demanding that Google join the effort to defund and dismantle the police forces across the United States. Most police officers are good people doing a hard and extremely dangerous job. There are some that are bad people, and we condemn those bad actors.

Police are responsible for approximately 1% of all violent death in the united states. The current legal intervention deaths (as of 2013) is .16/100,000 (or 0.0000016%). The study does not distinguish from legally justifiable deaths and non. However, as the study points out most of these situations arise from the inherent risks in policing. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6080222/ We concur with the study that police reform and additional training may be warranted.

Despite what the radicals say, police brutality is exceedingly uncommon. As such, the defunding and disbanding of police departments is incredibly reckless and dangerous, as the police are critical to a civil society.

We are requesting Google public announce their support of the GOOD law enforcement officers out there, and continue to sell their products to these police departments.
