This petition is to support those who put their lives on the line to protect us and our families, the Albuquerque Police Department (APD). APD has come under scrutiny for the recent shooting fatalities of criminals. They are being protested (violently at times) for doing their job. Those who are protesting are doing so without the proper education on the situations where criminals had to be controlled by any means necessary to keep our community safe. Please sign this petition to help APD know that they are people who are thankful for the work they do.

To the ones who want to protest what our Officers do; remember, the Officers are the ones that have to make the split second decisions to defend your family. You should be thankful that they have the training, and I dare you to do better. If you don't agree with them, join the force and change it.

Enough is enough. These guys deal with the worst of the worst every single day and get zero respect for it. We need you guys out there so please dont let the loud minority get you down. STAY SAFE.
