As tax-paying united citizens, we demand the continuation of funding our police. We require our rights to protection of life and property. We, direct politicians, voted into office respect our voices. We, the united citizens, DO NOT want our police defunded. Regardless of current tensions, respectfully, we believe in facts and statistics that counter the argument that our police are racially motivated or dangerous. Contrary, we believe in the majority of police--all races and creeds--as we think of all groups, being inherently good-natured. We do not believe in anarchy. We believe in law and order. We follow these laws in our communities, respecting the lives, property, and rights of all. We do not intend to stand for the unfair treatment of our first responders, namely, in this petition, our police. Our police are human beings with personal lives. They put themselves in harm's way, every day, to protect us, and that authority is to be appreciated and respected. Attacks against the police are unwarranted because of the acts of a few. We do not judge any group by negative actions of a few. The idea that this is being done currently to our police is hypocrisy on a grand scale. Again, we, the united citizens, DEMAND, the continued funding of our police.
