We, the undersigned, call upon the City of Delano to stop the harassment of the Delano Center immediately grant to it an occupancy permit so that we can have a safe and beautiful place to hold special events of our lives. GIVE US OUR FREEDOM BACK!

Updates

January 17, 2012

I have submitted a formal request for a meeting with the zoning board to address the permit delays. My legal counsel is currently reviewing the city building codes to ensure our petition remains grounded in administrative facts. I will provide an update once the city office confirms a time to discuss these requirements.

This is just ridiculous. Stop holding up progress and just let them open the doors already.

Ridiculous harassment. The building is safe and ready and we deserve to have a venue for our families.

Get it done. The city is making life harder for everyone for no good reason.
