I have been in contact with people close to the situation and they are still dodging the core issue of why Herbert was stripped of his prize. It breaks my heart to see his hard work dismissed over baseless rumors while he remains in the dark about his own future.

Seeing this much support for Herbert makes me realize just how many people see the true value in his work. We are finally forcing the city to look at the real person behind the design instead of just focusing on baseless rumors.

Total garbage decision. Let the boy have his future.
Ridiculous to take this away from him. He worked hard and won. Just cause some people want to see gangs everywhere doesnt mean a kids art is offensive. Give him the prize he deserves!

This kid earned it fair and square. Leave the politicizing out of high school art contests. Let him go to Europe!
