Herbert Pulgar, a student at
Lawrence Hall Youth Services won a contest for the new Chicago vehicle city sticker. He is in a school for troubled students and conditions in the area are rough. The award for the win is a $1000 bond and an opportunity to go to Europe for art school, something he would never be able to afford without this contest. It was rumored that the hands in the design were "gang related". So later on after he had already won the contest it was decided to be put under review and most likely decided that he doesn't get the win or the benefits that would tremendously contribute to his chances of a successful future. Please sign this petition and bring attention to the unjust revocation of his well earned win.
