We, the undersigned, propose the creation of a fenced-in dog-run to replace the generally unused volleyball sand court. We believe that having a dog run will help to build community with the Gingerwood Townhome Community. We propose the dog encompass the volleyball and some of the surrounding space for a size of 36 feet by 70 feet making it a total of 2,520 square feet, with a total of 209 feet of fencing and a 3 foot gate. The cost of the fencing would be under $2000, not including labor and we would be willing to raise money for some of the costs as well. The hours of the dog run will be from dawn to dusk and everyone who uses the run dog will agree to clean up after their dog(s), take responsibility for their dog's behavior, and keep barking at a minimum. This dog run will greatly benefit many in the community and it's something the dog owners in the community want.

The volleyball court just sits there collecting weeds anyway. This would be way better for everyone and give my pup a place to run around without me having to drive somewhere else.
