HOPEyouth is an outstanding group and does amazing this with the youth within the community of Wikwemikong. They do it out of their own goodwill and don't get paid. HOPEyouth has changed the youth in our community for the better, they give them a place to go hangout on weekends, they host a bible study, lend an ear when the youth need someone to talk too. HOPEyouth is amazing and a lot of youth can agree with this as well. At our high school, in Wikwemikong, the head of Board Of Education wont allow this great group back into the schools here. Although, HOPEyouth has their paperwork and criminal records up to date. Please sign this petition in hopes to get HOPEyouth back.

I didn't know about this program, wish I knew it was there, I have a teen at home that could of benefited from something like this, as it is I've had to move him off of Wiky due to lack of programs here. Yes, keep the program, it's free too, and obviously care about our youth!
As a proud parent of 2 of my children that were in this youth group, I am very displeased that it is stopped, my daughters have been and are still are inspired by this group. Please reconsider bringing back the HOPE youth group back!!!! This group is truly beneficial to our community
This is so unfair that the Board of Ed would even remove the Hope youth group from our schools, This group has changed my daughter for the better. If it wasn't for the Hope youth group my daughter wouldn't be who she is today. I really approve of this group here on our reserve and hope that the Board of Ed will let them back in. Our youth need this group to better themselves. Please let them back in!!!
HOPEyouth has been a huge part of my life for the last 6 years. Not just the wonderful people who run it, but the energy and vibes from this group helped me through my darkest times. HOPEyouth is an AMAZING group and opportunity for students and children/young adults in Wiky.
We need more light/happiness within our students.. too much of us feel sadness, depression or what ever it may be. This would be a great thing for many of us, doing more healthy activities with friends, start being less involved in the "activities" most teenagers do around here. Not only will be good for our physical health but also for our mental health. I know that it will help me a lot.. depending if i even stick around here.

From what my children and my cousins have told me there is nothing but positive encouragement etc from this group. what exactly is the reason that the head of board of Ed is keeping them out of highschool especially when it's on a volunteer basis, if the board is cutting so many teachers out of school shouldn't we be encouraging volunteers? Shameful
